16th January: A new Year
Well after returning to work on the 9th of January, Make It Happen and Sunflower Garden have moved offices from the top floor to the ground floor. We are now all in one big cozy office together, this week the work of Make It Happen will recommence :-) lets see what 2012 has instore.........

21st December: Christmas Holidays
It's the season for giving, spending time with friends and famliy, oh and eating lots of chocolates.......Mark Simcock will be on holiday and returns on the 9th January, so Make It Happen will be closed over the holidays. We all wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
9th December: Citizenship Award

Make it Happen Young person receives a Merit Citizenship Award from his school; everyone is very proud of him achieving this.
22nd November: Glentress

MIH young people in partnership with Niddrie Community Church enjoy a great day out blasting down the trails.....the day is summed uo at the end with one of the young people saying can we go up again....
15th November: Report
MIH are in the process of writing it's annual report and it'll be posted on the website soon
9th November: Project 2 years old
Make It Happen is still going strong after 2 years, impacting the lives of 40 young people and looking to expand....watch this space.
10th October: Holiday Time
Mark is taking a well deserved break for two weeks, visiting Northern Ireland and spending some quality time at home
9th September: Glentress
Some of MIH young people hit the trails at Glentress with Niddrie Community Church Bike Project...everyone had a great time, even though we all got a bit wet....
24th August: Simpson House Conference
Simpson House holding a conference at the Hibs ground with Make It Happen worker Mark Simcock delivering a workshop.
4th July: Summer Holidays
Mark on a two week break, off to Turkey to catch some sun rays with his family.

25th May: Make It Happen hits the news
Make It Happen after being spoken about at the Assembly's this week will have a slot in tonights Evening News.
9th May: Roll Away the Stone
Make It Happen will be part of the 'Roll Away the Stone' event happening in Princess Street Gardens on the 22nd of May, starting from 1pm till 5pm, hope to see you there........
9th May: Make It Happen Promotional Video
Mark is in the process of producing a promotional video to tell people about what Make It Happen does, it'll be up on the website soon, watch this space.............
9th May: Youth Achievement Awards
Make It Happen young people will now have the opportunity to take part in the Youth Achievement Awards scheme.
25th April:
Mark back for a couple of days then off for a well earnt long weekend :-)
19th April: Easter Camp
Make It Happen, The Ripple Project, The Buz Bus and craigentinny Community Center working in partnership took 19 young people to Fordell Firs for 2 and half days of activities.......

5th April: Community Education Student starts her placement
We welcome Chiara who has just started a 9 week placement here at MIH, we hope she enjoys it and learns some new things a long the way.
25th March:
GIRFEC 'Agenda' lecture attended
9th March: Youth Achievement Awards Training
Mark hopes to start using these awards as soon as possible and each MIH young person will have the opportunity to work towards one.
21st Febuary: Mountain Biking
Two MIH young people and Mark went mountain biking up Glentress. Everyone had a fantastic time and would like Niddrie Community Church for taking us out.

10th January: its 2011.............
MIH is ready to start 2011, with Mark Simcock back from his holidays, well rested and looking forward to the adventures ahead.
23th December: Final Post for 2010
Mark will now be on holiday until the 10th January. MIH would like to wish everyone a MERRY Christmas and a Happy New Year.
17th December: Partners
Mark has had two meetings this week, forming and strenghing partneship work with the HOT team and the Personal Development Partnership, who include Fairbridge, Venture Trust, Princess Trust and Venture Scotland.

Our annual report has started to be written and hopefully will be finished before the end of the year.
